VESHCH! Exhibition Visual Identity

Description

We designed exhibition's visual identity system and advertising campaign together with exhibition graphics. Each of 240 objects was turned into a pictogram that appeared across various media - from exhibition instagram account to audio guide, from exhibition object labels to catalogue.

The the style of visual identity while using modern typography still refers to Russian avant-garde as one of the most influential schools of the XX century both in graphic and industrial design. One of the tasks we had was to combine contemporary look and feel with history.

As the exhibition’s subtitle is 'Talking Objects’ one of the tasks we had was to make the exhibits talk to the visitor through visual identity and typography so that even those people who do not speak Russian could understand what it is about.
