TEMPO
Description
“Tempo” is a documentary series that invites artists to create a song in a studio within a single day, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the professional music industry production process. The visual approach is centered around music, encompassing the definition of tempo (in music, tempo refers to the duration of each unit of the beat that indicates the time and speed for playing a musical passage; and in life, in Portuguese, tempo also means time), as a broader concept of the passage of time in every dimension of our existence. In the design process, we sought musicality in the choice of each image, in the use of typography, graphics, and words. We intended to create a visual language that reflects the context and the studio’s unique aesthetic, where instruments, sound and ideas merge, and where sound and words spring, giving birth to the essence of the music composition process.
