ThoughtMatter marks the close of each year with a holiday gift for friends, collaborators and clients. It’s a gesture of gratitude, a salute to the year gone and a charm for the one ahead. We partnered with sisters Laura and Nathalie Viruly, artisans of handcrafted candles, to create a gift that brings warmth and illumination as the weather turns cold and the days shorten.
Our work is fresh and unconventional but serves the practical needs of our clients. The result, Play With Fire, is a source of literal and figurative illumination. Crafted hand-lettering for the message, paired with hand-poured candles, demonstrates the shared philosophy between our studio and Via Wax of care in our creativity. This gift inspires those who receive it to confront the new year with fiery enthusiasm.
