MONUMENT

Description

Ernst Ziller’s architectural legacy in Athens shines brightly through the Monument Hotel. This meticulously restored showcases late Athenian classicism at its finest. With a rich history dating back to 1881, the hotel offers a captivating journey into a bygone era. Located in the vibrant Psyrri neighborhood, it exudes old-world charm and presents nine impeccably designed rooms, each with unique style and character. The Monument had to undergo a scrupulous renovation with architectural artistry, in order to reveal the hidden treasures of the past. Inspired by the architectural intricacies, the horse representing the stable once housed in the building, and the ornate floral ceilings, the hotel’s logo is a masterful fusion of organic forms and structural elements. This artistic approach beautifully captures the interplay between the old and the new, infusing the design with captivating curves and edgy accents. The result is a visually striking rhythm that emanates a contemporary allure.
