Metawhat?
Description
Metawhat is a variable bilingual typeface. It is inspired by the idea that the metaverse is an internet that is accessed using the physical sense of space, and that the metaverse allows for shapeshifting. Available with Latin and Arabic alphabets, this variable typeface is scalable in weight and form. Latin capital letters are based on lowercase forms, but designed as their wider counterparts. Stylistic sets include much wider letters, translating that same shapesifting that can take place in the metaverse into letters that themselves change. You can expand single letterforms from their modular parts, expand words in Arabic using kashidas, and can change the weight of the letters gradually to create a lenticular effect.
