Magnetic Field Brand Identity
Description
Magnetic Field is a production company founded by directors Justin Lin, the Russo Brothers, and producer Todd Makurath. As a community of filmmakers delivering electrified storytelling and visuals, the company connects brands to their audience by harnessing the talent of masters of craft and fresh filmmaking voices. They were in need of a Brand Identity System harnessing the collective power of creativity they posses and translated the company's mantra of "Advertising as entertainment".
We created a dynamic motion-driven typographic design system inspired by the gravitational pull of compelling creative filmmaking. Our team also delivered a built-in a creative coding tool encompassing the brand guidelines that allows the client to generate an infinite iteration logotype "Magnetic Field" with ease. We used an extremely robust typeface, GT Planar by Grilli Type, and made a hyper-responsive typographic design system that represent the magnetic pull of emotional storytelling and filmmaking.
