Guftgu
Description
Guftgu was a series of artist talks arranged by Offset Projects. The work of nine of these photographic artists was compiled into a set of nine zines, to create the publication ‘Guftgu 2020’ (conceived as the first edition of an annual publication). The nine zines as well as their container were designed in such a way so as to not draw attention away from the art itself. Thus, the unobstrusive yet pleasing Neue Haas Grotesk was chosen as the unifying typeface across the diverse set of zines. Strict grid systems were maintained throughout the container and the zines, even as the zines themselves took liberties with size, format, and folding techniques.
