Clothes for the People-Exhibition of Costumes
Description
A picture book about the historical memory of intangible cultural heritage costumes, left and right two ways to read. It presents exhibition activities, lectures, artistic creations, interviews and other contents, showing the current situation and thinking of traditional Chinese clothing skills. The left turn presents the concept of viewing the exhibition on the paper, weaving and sewing are the concept of arrangement, and the text presents a weaving-like picture. Five colors distinguish different regions for easy searching. The right-flipped part is an extended reading of some of the exhibit techniques, and the color corresponds to the left-flip color. This cross-reading is like a needle threaded by the left and right hands, connecting the past and future of centuries-old traditional clothing techniques. Colored carbon paper is used at the junction of the left and right flips, and when flipping, it rubs against the adjacent paper, leaving traces of color and touch.
