ANÔNIMA — Art Gallery

Description

ANÔNIMA’s graphic concept aims to represent the coexistence of realities that define the experience of women and non-binary people in art: at the same time that there’s a great multiplicity of artists, practices and narratives, throughout history they’ve either been made invisible or forced to comply to standards that do not contemplate them.

This duality is carried out in the brand’s visual identity through the opposition of a neutral logotype and a dynamic support system of various graphic assets. These supportive elements are based on Latin American art, textiles and risograph printing, and as such are able to express all the plurality of resistant voices hidden behind the logo’s "anonymity". The most expressive of these assets is the Latin American Artists Alphabet, an original collection of "a"s (ANÔNIMA’s initial letter) inspired by the work of 20 female and non-binary artists from Latin America – one representative for each country.
