Description
The inspiration of this packaging design comes from traditional firecrackers, something essential and full of fun memories for every child during Chinese New Year but forbidden to use privately nowadays. The shape of the beer can is similar to the old-fashioned double-bang firecracker in China and the sound of opening each can is more or less like setting off a firecracker, plus people believe that 8 is the luckiest number because it sounds like the word 'getting rich' in Chinese so we came up with 8 Chinese names that symbolises the flavour note of each beer as well as the shape and style of different firecrackers, and pair them with explosive graphics, so together we have 8 types of craft beer under 8 different names and 8 graphic shapes to finish it off, and that is that is the creative story behind the project.
