Description
"Retro Meets the Present" is my artistic homage to the 36 Days of Type Challenge 2023. This collection is more than an exploration of the past analogue world; it marks a colorful reinterpretation of retro aesthetics. Each letter reimagines contemporary classic, merging analog switches and textured elements of fabric and glass into dynamic forms. Every sculpture, featuring illuminated components, embodies the vibrancy of the digital world and the fluidity of data transmission. Additionally, some of the letters are subtly animated, infusing them with even more life. This series bridges the tactile past and the sleek digital era, offering a seamless fusion of two distinct times.
The intentional use of 3D technology propels retro designs into a new dimension, enabling photorealistic rendering of three-dimensional elements. This approach not only honors the past but also embraces the potential of modern technology, crafting a captivating, future-forward digital aura within each piece.
