Description
Paragon Book Gallery was founded in 1942 in Shanghai. The new visual identity design aims to give the brand a sense of time, so the old Shanghai signboard art characters, which are symbols of the era, were chosen as the base font and style for extension. Through the layout of the Chinese and English fonts, the design team created a visual mismatch between the words or phrases, as if they were classification labels with a sense of order. At the same time, a set of visual rules was established for different shop features of the brand, with stylised interpretations in different forms of fonts and graphic chapters.
