Crystal Type is an experimental typography project exploring how a typeface can grow and transform from thin to bold, like a living organism, through crystallization. Spanning four stages—Material Exploration, Container Testing, Digital Simulation, and Installation Recording—the project involved extensive experiments to cultivate crystal letters, with over 300 gigabytes of footage capturing their growth.
