Description
Chicane is a term used in racing referring to the artificial narrowing or turn in the race course. This typeface, also called Chicane, is a Color font that allows users to create race track circuits by the simple act of typing. Surprising ligatures, contextual alternates, and various ramps, bridges, and tracks allow for an intuitive experience of control in construction. Chicane is an ascension to the traditional handling of type technology without necessarily creating an uncomfortable environment within conventional design spaces. The uppercase presents a letterset while the lowercase gives you a toolkit of race-track building parts. Each character has significance; It is rooted in meaning(why it is made), consistency(how it is made), and purpose(how it is used).
