Brigada
Description
Brigada is a typeface designed to explore the possibilities of a script typeface based on the broad nib pen. Takes its inspiration from the humanist cursive, adding a curly twist derived from the observation and interpretation of Cancellaresca calligraphy styles. The whole character set has a cursive structure with a monolinear appearance, adding a second line in its thick strokes. This feature creates a particular texture in the word, which is enriched by careful connections between its letters. The concept behind the design responds to creating visual impact derived from the contemporary interpretation of the calligraphic principles. The main purpose of this typeface is to be composed in titles or short sentences. It supports a wide variety of languages of the Latin alphabet.
