Happy Font & Happy Script.
Description
For our rebranding of Happy Socks, the top selling Swedish socks brand, we designed two typefaces made to match .
The first one, a sans serif typeface family with concave stems (reminiscent of the smiling -H- logo we also designed), which includes one style for headlines, and three styles for texts. Its texts variants needed to be simple for the packaging technical informations , but also friendly for the overall communication.
The second one a sans serif is paired with a very low contrast script typeface. The opentype allows the many letter variants to work together. The set of capitals is completed by a set of small caps, that help composing titles. The style of this script typeface is inspired by the numerous letterings of shops, hotels and restaurants signs, typical of the streets of Stockholm.
