A Wild Promise is an illustrated celebration of the fifty-year anniversary of the Endangered Species Act of 1973. 208 pages. Over 100 illustrations. The wonky, organic lettering, which contains essential information about each species, frames the images, alluding to devotional icons. Some of the species included in the book have made great recoveries, while others teeter on the brink of extinction. A few species are largely unknown to the general public. It is our hope that this book will raise awareness of their existence, and their plight.
